If you missed the podcast
last week (for whatever reason), I really encourage you to give it a listen as it speaks to something most of us with kind hearts will struggle with at some point.

I hope you are having a great week,
Gene
Good morning,
A few weeks ago I was talking to one of my clients, "Debbie".
Debbie found herself in what felt like a double bind. One of those situations where it felt like no matter which choice she made, it would be the wrong one.
The situation was that Debbie was in a one-sided friendship. Debbie's "friend" only ever reached out to her when she needed something.
There was no give
and take.
There was no mutual support.
Debbie rightly decided that she wanted to end this unfulfilling relationship.
That seems fairly straightforward except that Debbie knew that her friend would be angry if she told her that she wanted to end their relationship.
Debbie said, "I need to do this…BUT I'm
supposed to be kind. Telling her that I don't want her in my life is not being kind."
If you are reading this email, more than likely you are a kind and
thoughtful person. Over the years I have noticed that people who are interested in tapping and personal development work are usually caring and considerate towards others.
For those of us who are
thoughtful about our words and actions, it is easy to find ourselves caught between wanting to be kind AND wanting to take care of ourselves.
Join me on this week's podcast where I talk about and tap for
those times when we are trying to create healthy boundaries in our lives, and simultaneously wanting to be thoughtful and kind humans in the world.
You can hear my reflection and tap along with me here:

I would love to hear your thoughts
on what it is like for you as you try to navigate this issue in your own life, and how you respond to it.
Blessings,
Gene
