One of my favorite ways to think about tapping is as an amplifier.

By this I mean that tapping enhances whichever other tools we are already using and this plays out in a number of ways

In a transformational setting, when we are tapping we are calming the nervous system and our emotional response so that we can bring new information to a past memory. The movie technique is a perfect example of this. As we replay the movie of the memory in our head, tapping calms us and allows us to transform a painful memory into something useful.

In my work with clients I use tools from NLP, parts mediation, guided imagery, and hypnosis. Adding tapping to all of these other tools allows me to get more out of the sessions and better results for my clients.

In other words: whatever you are doing that works for you, adding tapping to the process will augment your results.

This isn't only true for personal transformation work.

This is true when we add tapping to creative practices, meditation, and other spiritual practices.

The reason tapping is an amplifier in these cases is because the act of tapping calms us, helps us to be more present in the moment, and makes it easier to hear our authentic self.

One of my favorite places to add tapping is in my spiritual practices. When I am able to be in the moment and fully present to my whole being (not just my physical and intellectual self), I am able to be more present to those experiences.

For the August Art of Delivery Monthly I will be sharing a number of ways that you can use tapping to enhance your spiritual practices.

To be clear, I am not talking about tapping as a spiritual practice AND I won't be teaching any specific spiritual practices. Instead, I am going to share a number of frameworks that you can use with tapping to enhance your own spiritual practice.

What you learn in the class will help you to create more space for your spiritual practice, will allow you to deepen your practice and be more authentically present to your experience of it.

As always, I will teach the Art of Delivery Monthly classes live Sunday, August 21st at 12 noon Eastern time. Even if you can't attend live you will receive recordings of the class.

Not only will I be teaching you my approaches, I will also do demonstrations so you can see the tools in action firsthand AND, you will have the opportunity to try out the tools with others in a small group setting.

BONUS: You also will have access to my August Open Office Hours sessions on Zoom. Join me on Tuesday, August 23rd at 5 PM Eastern time and/or Thursday, August 25th at 11 AM Eastern time when I will be answering all of your questions about the class or anything else related to tapping. We may also tap together during these sessions, based on the needs of the group.
