Good afternoon,
Recently, I was talking to my client "Jenny".
It had been about three weeks since we had worked together so I started our session by asking how she was doing. I have never had a client say quite what she told me in reply!
Jenny said, "I am so frustrated. I just feel like a giant banana slug. All I want to do is lay on the couch like a huge blob. I have no motivation to do anything at all!"
Jenny was not the first client to complain about a lack of motivation, but she was the first client to use such a perfect and vivid description of what it feels like to be stuck in that space.
Just because we know what to do, how to do it, and why it is valuable to take action, doesn't mean we actually do take action.
Willpower works, but only for so long because it is a limited resource. You might be able to get yourself to do something two or three times on willpower alone. But for tasks outside your comfort zone or those that require a lot of effort, willpower just isn't enough.
Projects that are big or new, or both, require enthusiasm and motivation.
In preparation for the 24 Hours of Tapping I was talking with Ulf Sandström (one of the directors of the Peaceful Heart Network) and he asked "How do you have so much energy to do all of this? Every time I talk to you or see you on video you are so alive."
My secret sauce? I regularly spend time tapping for enthusiasm and motivation.
AND by this I don't just mean I am tapping to get rid of resistance to action, but I also tap to grow my enthusiasm and motivation

As always, I will teach the Art of Delivery Monthly classes live on two different dates: Tuesday, July 19th at 7:30 PM Eastern time and Sunday, July 24th at 12 noon Eastern time. You can attend either or both sessions AND you will receive recordings of both classes, regardless if you attend one, both, or neither of
the live classes.
Not only will I be teaching you my approaches, I will also do demonstrations so you can see the tools in action firsthand AND ,you will have the opportunity to try out the tools with others in a small group setting.
BONUS: You also will have access to my July Open Office Hours sessions on Zoom. Join me on Tuesday, July 26th at 5 PM Eastern time and/or Thursday, July 28th at 11 AM Eastern time when I will be answering all of your questions about the class or anything else related to tapping. We may also tap together during
these sessions, based on the needs of the group.
