Good morning,
Today is Thanksgiving Day in the United States, in many ways our most significant holiday.
Thanksgiving is when people are most likely to travel to see family, even more so than at Christmas. It is also the holiday when people are most likely to invite their friends to share their holiday meal.
The intention of the holiday is to give thanks for the good things in our lives.
I thought this would be the perfect occasion to talk about the difference between "grateful" and "thankful".
Even though most
people use the two words interchangeably, there is an important distinction between them.
My goal is not to correct your grammar, because I really don't care which word you use. At the same time,
understanding the difference between the thankful and grateful is useful in creating healing and transformation.
In this week's podcast I share the difference between the two, how we think about them in
relation to our healing work, and we even do a little tapping.

I hope you find this useful,
Gene
PS: As we pause to give thanks, I would like to extend my appreciation to you for allowing me to share resources from time to time in your inbox. Tapping Q and A would not exist without readers and listeners like you. As 2022 draws to a close, please let me know if there is anything I can do to be helpful in your healing and tapping journey.
