Good morning,
In September 15 years ago, I posted the very first article on a website that is now known as Tapping Q & A.
When I first started writing articles and creating podcasts and videos, my goal was to offer resources that would make it easier for my readers to get the most out of tapping.
I had experienced the amazing transformational power of tapping firsthand and I wanted the same for others.
At the time, I regarded tapping as a powerful way to create personal transformation.
In the last few months I have changed the way I think about tapping and what type of resources I want to create in future.
Fear not! I will continue to add new resources, tools, teachings,
and tap-alongs to Tapping Q and A.
But I have changed how I think about the resources I am creating.
First, I have stopped thinking about tapping as an approach. I now think of tapping as a tool.
Second, my goal isn't to help you become a better tapper. Instead, my goal is to help you to create a life that you love (that includes your physical and emotional health, your relationships, and how you spend your time) AND the primary way I am going to help you to do that is through tapping.
This might not seem like a major change! I will admit that on the surface it doesn't appear to be a big change.
I can tell you firsthand that since I have made this change in thinking, it's been a lot easier to get even more out of each round of tapping.
BUT the key shift I have noticed is that the quality of my life has improved, which is much more important!
In this week's podcast I share what I mean by the difference between approach and tool, and how my goals around tapping have changed.
When
you understand these ideas I think you will get even more out of tapping as well.
You can hear my thoughts here: https://tappingqanda.com/543
I would really love to hear your feedback on what I have shared. I want to know what you like and, more importantly, what you disagree
with. I always learn so much from this community's input and experience around tapping.
Blessings,
Gene
