Good morning,
One thing you may not know about me is that I love magic.
I learned my first magic trick when I was about 10 years old and at different points in my life I have spent many hours with a deck of cards in my hand trying to learn more.
During the pandemic, I decided to re-engage with card tricks.
As part of this effort, I have been watching lots of magic videos. One of my favorites is a behind-the-scenes documentary by Joshua Jay and his creative team about his show "Six Impossible Things".
Joshua's commitment to his craft blows me away. And when I say that, I don't mean the craft of performing magic tricks, but the craft of creating an absolutely amazing experience for his audience.
There is a difference between a great trick and a great performance. Joshua happens to be outstanding at both.
One of the ideas I loved in the documentary is how Joshua reads three phrases off a notecard before every show to help him to do his best work and be fully present to the performance.
This prompted me to ask myself, "What do I want to remind myself of before each client call to ensure I am at my best for every client?"
After turning this over in my mind for a number of weeks, I have landed on the four phrases that I need to hear.
In this week's podcast I share those four phrases with you, why I think they are useful, and how you can use them yourself, whether tapping with a client or on your own.
Even if these are not the right four phrases for you, I think the podcast will provide useful food for thought to help you to set up your next round of tapping.

After you give it a listen, I would love to hear which phrase you remind yourself of before you tap,
Gene
PS: Last Saturday my sister and I went live to tell the stories of what we
learned, what inspired us, and what surprised us in our time with the Peaceful Heart Network in Uganda and Rwanda. You can find the full replay here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_eDQ-iwHtc&t=99s
