Good morning,
Today, we continue the Healing Fundamentals series with a look at how the memory works and how it can get in the way of our healing and transformation.
As is often the case, it all starts with the workings of the subconscious mind...
One of the best features of the subconscious mind is that it learns constantly from our experience. It translates what happens in our daily lives into lessons so that we can avoid danger in the future.
This is great…except when it is not!
Sometimes the subconscious either learns
the wrong lesson OR it perceives something as more dangerous than it is.
When this happens, it moves from keeping us safe to being an instrument of self-sabotage by creating what is called the negativity
bias.
This week's podcast explores why the negativity bias exists, how it works, and how understanding it can keep us from getting stuck on our journey to self-transformation and healing.
In the discussion, I show you exactly how I tap for this issue so that you can tap right along with me.
