Good morning,
I am sure you are like me...you wish that some of the people in your life were more supportive.
Maybe that's someone with experience or connections that would be helpful for your success. Or perhaps it's someone close that you would like to be more encouraging or supportive.
As frustrating and disappointing as this feels, it is something we can come to terms with because we also have people who are firmly in our corner!
They are our cheerleaders, supporters, and advocates…except when they are not…
The reality
is that even our most vocal supporters can get in the way of our healing, transformation, and success.
It is not that their words of encouragement are insincere, or that they are consciously trying to
undermine our success. Instead, there is a conflict between our change and evolution, and what that means for their daily lives.
This is because the people in our lives
want us to change, just as long as they don't have to.
On the face of it, that statement sounds harsh, but it is important to understand the nuance behind it and how our healing can be held back
by unconscious resistance put up by others.
In this week's podcast we are continuing the Healing Fundamentals series with an exploration of how our loved ones can hinder our success. Not only do
we explore how and why this happens, we also do some tapping to help you to move forward.
This week's teaching is available in both audio and video formats.
