Good morning,
More than 15 years ago I recall wandering around some airport (back when I traveled almost every week for work) and found myself in a bookstore killing time before my next flight.
I came across Bryan Tracy's book Goals and decided to give it a go.
I'm not exactly sure the topic merited 250 pages of explanation, but to this day I still use the ideas contained in that book.
It is so much easier to take
action with a clear goal in mind, which is true on both a conscious and subconscious level.
On a conscious level, a clear target helps us to plan our next steps and it serves as a measuring
stick to assess our progress.
On a subconscious level, we often resist taking action towards an unclear destination because we are wary of wasting effort on something that may not turn out well.
At the same time, goals can create unwanted pressure when we beat ourselves up emotionally for not living up to the expectations that come with setting a goal.
In this week's podcast I explore the idea of how adding a secondary goal can help to relieve the pressure to achieve as we move forward.
The secondary goal is actually the most important goal I have in my life, and it guides all the action I take and every round of tapping I do.
I introduced this idea to a number of my students this past weekend and they loved it! I know you will too.

I would love to hear how this idea works with your tapping practice,
