Good morning,
A few weeks ago, I was working with one of my clients I'll call "Debbie" who is a very skilled tapping practitioner in her own right.
The reason she works with me is the same reason that I work with a tapping practitioner. Even when we are skilled at tapping (or any other modality), we can be too close to our own issues. Working with someone else means they can hold a healing space for us and provide perspective that we cannot access because we are too close to our own experience.
Because of Debbie's experience, when she brings an issue to me, she often also shares everything that she has tried on her own first.
To begin our session, Debbie shared with me what she was struggling with and everything she had tried.
She presented a thoughtful and thorough approach to her issue AND she still wasn't making any progress with resolving it.
So, I asked her to do something that was the very opposite of what she was doing.
I asked her to get out of her practitioner brain and do something completely different...and five minutes later we
had the breakthrough she needed.
This week in the podcast I share the process I used with Debbie and how you can use it too. It is easy to follow, and if you have been working with tapping for any length
of time, it will be a great reminder of something you probably already know but have forgotten about.

I would love to hear how this idea works with your tapping practice,
