Good morning,
When I was the grand old age of 22, I decided that I wanted to give up on my career as a computer scientist in favor of working with middle and high school-age kids as a performer and
motivational speaker.
I convinced my best friend from childhood to move to Washington, DC to join me and we got to work.
Every night, Brad and I practiced our juggling routine for 60 to 90 minutes. We worked on a business plan. We talked to
other people who were already making a living in the field.
We were all in.
Based on pure gumption (and the fact we weren't charging much for our services), we were able to convince a few youth groups in the Washington/Baltimore area to give
us a try.
The second performance we did was in Essex, Maryland and it was a complete disaster!
The kids didn't pay attention, we weren't well prepared, and everything that could go wrong did go wrong.
As we were driving back to DC, I said to Brad, "If this is how it's going to be, I quit. That was horrible."
I wasn't actually going to quit, but that was how I felt at that moment.
The next morning, I asked myself the question "How can I improve?"
One of my first steps was to start recording all our performances so that I could watch them back multiple times. I also created audio versions of the recordings to listen to while I was driving.
Was it painful?
YES! IT! WAS!
But I knew it was necessary if I wanted to get significantly better. I made pages of notes of everything
that worked, and what did not.
Little by little we got better, and it got better.
When I started working with clients as a tapping practitioner, I got off to a much better start than my first few performances as a juggler. Even though I
didn't hate it and my clients were happy with the service I was providing, I knew I could do better.
So, I did the exact same thing with my client sessions. I started to review them, and then I reviewed them again, sometimes as many as four or five times.
Again, I noted what worked and what didn't. When approaches worked well, I made sure they moved from the category of "happy accidents'' to techniques that I used consistently. When I felt lost, or when I lost rapport with my clients, I came up with ways to prevent that from happening in the future and created a recovery plan.
AND I didn't just do
this at the beginning of my career. Every few years, I go through the process all over again.
If you are a practitioner, I don't want you to have to go through all of the work I did to learn those same lessons!
That is why I have created a brand new program called Tapping Session Success Blueprint.
Not that the way I approach client sessions is the best way or the only way to be successful, but instead I want to share with you the lessons I have learned and the approaches I have used to help my clients to experience deep and lasting transformation.
Armed with this knowledge, you can then take the parts that work best for you and add them to the already powerful work you are doing.
There are four parts to the training:
- Being well resourced and prepared
- Ensure you are mentally and emotionally prepared for every session
- Let go of your agenda and stay present with your client
- Maintain a balanced state before, during, and after sessions
- Show up as the best, most skilled version of yourself
- How to structure a client session
- Learn the six elements that make up a successful client session
- Meet your clients' needs while keeping
them emotionally safe
- Develop a clear game plan for clients to continue their healing and transformation post-session
- Make sure that your clients leave every session with tangible action steps
- Using tapping effectively
- Maximize the effectiveness of tapping during sessions
- Stay focused so you aren't chasing every issue or memory that arises
- Handle unexpected issues with confidence
- Avoid feeling lost
- Creating a
long-term transformational journey for your clients
- Develop comprehensive healing plans beyond one-off sessions
- Implement best practices for client intake, accountability, and progress tracking
- Make it easier for your clients to buy into a healing journey, taking the pressure off getting everything done in a single session or producing "one-minute wonders"
To summarize, you will learn how to show up for client sessions, how best to structure a tapping session, how to get the most out of the tapping (and all the other amazing tools you use), and how to help your clients for the long term.
And I'm not alone!
One of the things that I am most excited about in this training is that my sister, Elaine Monterastelli, will be co-leading the program. That means you will get two Monterastellis for the price of one!
Elaine has over 20 years of coaching experience. She is thoughtful,
insightful, empathetic, and a great coach. I’m excited for you to benefit from her wisdom.
The Tapping Session Success Blueprint will take place live on Zoom on Saturday, August 24th starting at 10:00 AM Eastern US time and will run until about 4:00 PM Eastern.
There will be breaks for stretching and meals during the training to ensure you are able to stay engaged and focused.
The entire training will be recorded to allow you to access the teaching as often as you would like afterwards. We will cover a great deal of content on the day and while you will
understand all of it right away, you will find nuance and subtleties in the material as you revisit it over time.
The training also includes a bonus Q&A session on Sunday, September 15th at 12 noon Eastern US time. This will give you a chance not only to digest what you have learned at the training but try it out with your clients. You can then ask follow-up
questions based on your lived experience.
Since this is the first time we are running this program, we are offering the training, the recordings, and the bonus Q&A session for just $197.

If this helps you to work with clients more confidently, safely, and successfully, and if you help even one client to find deeper and longer lasting healing, then the training will pay for itself.
I am passionate about equipping helpers and practitioners to trust themselves and their giftedness. The more well-formed and effective healing practitioners there are in the world, the better place it is for all of us.
Elaine and I hope you can join us on August 24th!
