Good morning,
One of the biggest struggles I have faced in my adult life is spreading myself too thin.
I sometimes joke that my shiny objects have shiny objects because of my tendency to get distracted.
It's so easy to get caught up in the excitement of new opportunities. Whether it’s a new project, hobby, or commitment, it’s tempting to say “yes” to everything that comes our way.
When I have done this in the past, it led to feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, and dozens of half-completed projects. Then I would beat myself up emotionally for squandering my time and opportunities.
About five years ago, I discovered a way to combat this challenge in the shape of five key
questions that I always ask myself before adding something new to my life.
These five questions have guided me to make better choices and avoid overextending myself.
AND as powerful as the questions are, it is really the final question that
changed everything for me.
It is the one that ensures I’m making the right decision for my well-being and not taking on too much at once. This question alone has transformed the way I approach new opportunities and commitments. It’s helped me stay focused on what truly matters and maintain a sense of balance in my life.
In this week's episode, I’ll walk you through all five questions, sharing my personal experiences and insights.
Listen as I delve into how tapping can amplify these questions and make them even more useful.
I also show you how to incorporate tapping into the five questions.
