Yes, that
really a group of incarcerated women tapping.
They are part of the HARP Program at the county jail in Chesterfield, VA. (HARP stands for Helping Addicts Recover Progressively.)
In 2016, Chesterfield County Jail suffered its tenth overdose
death. Sheriff Karl Leonard asked one question: "How many people have to die before we do something?" He walked around the jail and asked who wanted recovery. The result of that day is the HARP program, a therapeutic treatment program run inside the jail.
And HARP was born!
One of the many tools Sheriff Leonard provides for both the men and women incarcerated in the facility, as well as the deputies who work there, was tapping.
Tapping now happens daily in the facility.
As part
of the 24 Hours of Tapping you will get a chance to hear about tapping in a jail.

Kerri Rhodes (who leads the program) will explain how tapping ended up in the jail
A number of inmates share how they use tapping, how it has changed their lives, and how they support others as they deal with life's struggles
