Good morning,
When looking at past experiences, I often think "once is an anomaly, twice is a coincidence, and three times is a pattern".
Obviously this isn't a hard and fast rule, but it helps me to maintain perspective on how significant something is, and what lessons I can learn.
The subconscious mind is much less discerning! It tends to be highly cautious and often concludes that "if it happens once, then it is a universal
truth".
That is why our past experience can have such a dramatic impact on how we behave and take action, or how we resist taking action.
A past lesson that comes up repeatedly when I am working with my clients is that "failing is painful and
must be avoided at all costs".
If you buy into that story, it makes it hard to try new things, to stretch yourself, or to grow.
In this week's podcast I share two handy tools to clear the stories of past failures.
I also share one of my biggest failures of the last few years and how I overcame it using these exact tools.

Even if you don't do the tapping in the podcast, you definitely want to
learn the question you can ask yourself that will make it soooo much easier to move on from failure!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this approach,
Gene
