Good morning,
Over the weekend I came down with a severe cold.
It
was one of those colds where I was just about OK when I was lying perfectly still in my bed (minus the coughing), but everything went sideways as soon as I tried to move.
My body felt leaden, my brain was groggy, and when I got up, I received the clear message from my body that it needed to lie down again "RIGHT NOW!"
In addition to reaching out to my doctor, drinking lots of water, and resting, of course I tapped for what was going on in my body.
I tapped for:
- The aches and pains
- My lack of energy
- Letting my system know it was safe and allowed to recover
- Strength for
my immune system
- Sleep to come quickly and be gentle and healing
Even though I tapped for all of those things, my first rounds of tapping were not for the physical symptoms I was experiencing.
Instead, before I started tapping for my physical health, I spent time tapping for what I was feeling
emotionally.
I tapped for the frustration of being sick, the disappointment of missing seeing friends over the weekend, and the worry that I would fall behind on projects that I needed to work on in my business.
For me, that tapping was just as valuable (if not more valuable) as the tapping I did for the physical symptoms.
In this week's podcast I share with you the two-step process that I used. And when I say share, I don't just mean that I teach you the process. You get to see me tapping in real time for my recovery because I recorded this on Monday while I
was still ill.
The process I teach in this episode doesn't just apply to tapping for your physical health but to tapping for any issue.
