Good morning,
Over the last few weeks I have heard from a number of my students and clients who feel completely out of sorts.
In one form or another they describe feeling overwhelmed and hopeless in the face of current world events, and how those feelings are seeping into the rest of their lives.
It becomes doubly difficult when the issues we are worried about are either so big or so far away that it is impossible for
us to do anything about them.
As one of my students so aptly put it, "I feel like my give a damn is broken."
We become unmotivated, listless, and tired. Time seems to pass at a glacial speed, yet somehow we reach the end of the day without
having done much. Even the things we enjoy begin to feel like we are just going through the motions.
When the issues are huge and global, there is no simple reframe or affirmation that we can tap on to magically lift our mood. AND when it feels like everything is going wrong, it is hard to know where to start and that leads to no tapping at all.
This week in the podcast I share the process I use when I find myself stuck in these difficult feelings.
The process itself isn't about doing a few rounds of tapping and then moving on as if nothing is wrong. Instead, it is a gentle process that
honors and hears my emotions in such a way that I can honestly assess what is going on in the world at large, what is going on in my world, and how I can move forward in a healthy way.
This is one of my favorite processes and I know that it will make you feel better too, no matter how good or bad you feel when you start.

I would love to hear what you learn about yourself and the world as you tap through this process.
Blessings,

PS: Don't forget you can still access the replay of the live stream I did on Wednesday where we do loads of tapping for holiday
stress and other holiday-related issues.
Here is part of an email I received right after we finished:
"This tapping session was much needed for me today. All three topics you chose to start out with were extremely relevant for
me. To my surprise, I had tears streaming down my cheeks when you spoke about disconnection. Now, afterwards, I feel more empowered to stop putting on a fake happy face and admit to myself and others when I've reached my limits. Your tapping sessions mean the world to me."
