Good morning,
In the last five years I have rekindled my love of magic, a favorite childhood hobby.
I love magic.
I love watching magic.
I love performing magic.
I love hanging
out with other magicians.
I love learning about magic.
People fascinated by learning about magic fall into three broad categories:
- Professionals – Magicians who are paid to perform magic
- Hobbyists – Those who perform magic
for their friends and family
- Method Collectors – People who love to learn about and understand magic tricks, but don't perform for others
When it comes to the number of tricks that a person learns and performs, there is a huge difference between hobbyist/method collectors and the professionals.
AND it is a difference that you wouldn't expect!
Method collectors and hobbyists learn and try out as many tricks as they can. They have bookshelves full of magic books and boxes stuffed with props.
On the other hand, professionals might also own a huge library of magic books and a collection of props, but they focus on just a handful of tricks.
They perform that handful of tricks and they practice them hundreds of times. They record all their performances and watch themselves perform the same tricks over and over again.
Professionals are not worried about doing the most tricks or the best tricks.
Their focus is on creating a magic performance full of wonder and surprise for their audience.
As an example, I recently went to see Mario the Maker perform here in NYC. Mario is the best kids' magician in the world and a world-class performer.
As a seasoned magician, I understand how Mario did every single one of his tricks BUT it didn't matter.
The show is so enchanting and heartwarming that the beauty of the experience made me cry.
At this point you may be wondering why I am writing about my magic hobby in an email about tapping.
That is a good question.
I am sharing this story as an analogy of what I see happening in the space of personal transformation.
I see many people who are collectors of transformational methods or
techniques.
AND that is not necessarily a bad thing! It all depends on what you are trying to achieve with your learning.
If you are someone who just loves to learn and know about the latest and greatest trends, then being a
transformational technique collector is a great way to spend your time.
BUT if your goal is to create transformation, if your goal is to create real magic, then you should not be trying to learn all the things.
The way we create our own
transformational magic is by finding the tools that work best for us, understanding them on a deep level, and identifying the nuances that make the tools more powerful every time we use them.
That has become my focus of my teaching. I don't want to teach everything. Instead, I want my students to learn a few powerful tools in depth that will create true
transformational magic.
That is why I created the Tapping Mastery Blueprint. This program combines five key tapping approaches that can be used for almost any issue under the sun.
These approaches cover a myriad of issues and are structured
so that they are super easy to use so you won't just know them, you will actually use them.
Normally this training costs $397, but today you can access it for only $50.
I will be running the training three times in January AND if you can't
join us live you will also have access to video training that comes with a workbook, so you can work through the content in a way that is most convenient for you.
This is your chance to create transformational magic for only $50.
