Good morning,
One of my favorite (and most useful) ways to describe the human experience is “Life is a resource management problem!”
Yes, I know—it sounds clinical and uninspiring. But even though it sounds dry, it is a powerful way to understand the constant balancing act we’re all facing.
We all have a limited amount of time, energy, and attention. And every day, we’re faced with hard choices about where to invest those
precious resources. Do we focus on our health? Our relationships? Our spiritual growth? Our professional goals? Much as we wish we could, it's impossible to work on everything at once.
And as if that weren't challenging enough, there’s another significant obstacle standing in our way: our subconscious mind.
The human subconscious mind is laser-focused on relieving immediate discomfort. This focus on the right now can distract us from our long-term goals and before we know it, we’re spending our days putting out fires, instead of making real progress toward meaningful, lasting transformation.
This week in the podcast, I’m diving deep into why this happens and how you can steer your subconscious mind away from short-term fixes. I’ll also share how the concept of “important vs. essential” can keep you focused on what really matters, along with ideas for your daily tapping to help you stay on track and create a life you love.
I’ve made it easy for you to dive in, no matter how you prefer to listen:

As always, I’d love to hear how this resonates with you and how it helps you refocus on your long-term goals.
Blessings,
Gene
