Good morning,
A few weeks ago I was working with a client I'll call "Alexandria".
When we jumped on Zoom, like always, I asked Alexandria "How can I be helpful today?"
She paused and then said, "I almost canceled our call for today. Think I have found the core of the issue we are working on but I can't start tapping. I feel like if I start feeling this, I’ll never stop. I should really be over this by now! I'm just embarrassed that
this is getting the best of me."
This is such a common concern that I hear from my clients all the time.
Another common version of this concern reported by my clients isn't so much about the emotions feeling overwhelming, but they are
embarrassed by the fact they are feeling emotional.
The common refrains are, "I should be over this" or "I am making this into a much bigger deal than it actually is."
Last week in the podcast we talked what to do when it feels like you aren't allowed or it is unsafe to feel your emotions.
This is a powerful lesson and an approach that everyone should have in their tapping tool box.

Our emotions are not our enemy. This is a great chance to make it easier for us to feel our emotions in a healthy
way.
I know you are going to love this,
