Good morning,
Something I particularly appreciate about the tapping and transformational community is how it is filled with so many loving and caring people.
Nearly everyone who learns tapping also wants to share it with others because they want everyone to enjoy its benefits and for the world to be a better place.
BUT these same people have a tendency to be overly caring.
I don't mean that they care too much, but rather that they end up caring for and taking responsibility for other people's issues and burdens in a way that is not only unuseful, but in many cases unhelpful.
A perfect example of this is (most often
subconsciously) taking on responsibility for someone else's emotional state.
No matter how much I want to pick up someone's emotional burden, and no matter how much they want me to pick up their emotional burden, it is impossible to do that.
This week in the podcast, I talk about three key points that I think are essential for caring people to move through the world in a healthy way.
In the podcast you will learn:
- Why we are prone to taking on other people's emotional burdens
- How to release these burdens without feeling selfish or unkind
- How to prevent ourselves from
picking up others' emotional burdens in the future
If you are a naturally caring person, this is essential listening for your wellbeing.

This is one of the topics I talk about the most with my clients and students. Understanding how to be a thoughtful, caring human while preserving healthy boundaries is something everyone should know.
You will love this approach,
Gene
PS: Yesterday, live on YouTube, I gathered with tappers from all over the world as we tapped for peace. We did over 30 minutes of super powerful tapping
together. You can watch the replay and tap along with us here: https://www.youtube.com/live/0dfI05GjFjk?si=ggbKPipctxg9YLTm&t=101
