Good morning,

Every week, I read through many emails from practitioners and every week, I feel both hope and heartbreak.

AND I don't just mean emails from the 'big names' in the healing world. I subscribe to everything and once a week, I spend about ninety minutes reading through as many of these emails as possible. I click links, I check out practitioners' websites, and I see what they are up to on social media.

The reason I do this is because I am constantly trying to learn more effective ways to communicate by observing what works, and sometimes what does not.

Every week I open an email and think, "This person just discovered Pat Flynn's podcast," or "That person has started listening to Gary Vee," or "This person signed up for Marie Forleo's course."

I don't think any of those thoughts in a judgemental way.

Instead, I'm impressed and encouraged that practitioners are working hard to communicate and market themselves better.

At the same time, these emails often make me sad.

That's because I know the emails they are writing, the videos they are making, and their social media content are not producing the results they want.

And this lack of results is not down to a lack of effort or because what they are producing is of inferior quality.

No, it is because their focus is on the wrong thing for where they are in their business. The tactics might be perfect for someone else, but right now they are not only imperfect, they are actually a hindrance to their success.

It's a bit like a restaurant printing menus before appliances have been installed in the kitchen.

I don't want this to be the case! My dream is for every tapping practitioner to enjoy success beyond their wildest dreams because as well as that being good for them, it will spread healing in ripples around the whole world.

(Yes, I know that sounds over the top, but that is the kind of thing I visualize every morning as I start my work day.)
