Good morning,
Over the last few months I have been thinking a lot about why we know how to tap, and yet still don’t do it as often as we would like.
I know this sounds strange, but one of the reasons that comes up over and over again is we are afraid that tapping will work.
Yes! You read that correctly. I didn't say "afraid it won't work", but afraid it will work.
That's because change is scary. In this case, I don't mean in a conscious way (though sometimes it is consciously scary) but more often on a subconscious level.
Change is scary because it brings uncertainty AND our subconscious hates uncertainty more than just about anything.
To keep us safe, the subconscious avoids the unpredictable by keeping us stuck in the same place. One of the ways it does this is to avoid using tools that will allow and create change.
So, even when we consciously want to tap, we come up against
subconscious resistance.
This week in the podcast I do a deep dive into this idea, share a simple way to uncover our resistance, and (most importantly) lead you through tapping for the resistance.
If you are struggling to tap more often, then
this is a must watch (or must listen).

I would love to hear what surfaces when
you start uncovering the resistance.

PS: As a perfect companion to this week's podcast, yesterday on the Wednesday live stream I explored how we stay stuck because we are loyal to a younger
version of ourselves and perceive change as too painful. It’s a perfect companion to this episode as it goes after one more reason we don't tap when we know we should. Watch the full replay here: https://www.youtube.com/live/nqgb74ddzuQ?si=IGWeXggdihCNeY3k&t=174
