Good afternoon,
Without question, the tapping phrase my students and clients resist the most is:
I give myself permission to be gentle with myself.
The reason there is soooooooooo much resistance is because part of us is worried that if we are gentle with ourselves, we are in fact giving ourselves a pass.
Our subconscious thinks, "If I’m gentle with myself, I’ll lower my standards. If I lower my standards, I won’t try as hard. And if I don’t try as hard, I’ll stay stuck...or things will get even worse."
In truth, being gentle and offering yourself compassion isn’t giving you a pass. It’s giving you understanding, which is what makes healing
possible.
The bottom line is that healing is impossible if we aren't able to allow ourselves compassion.
But just knowing I should be compassionate isn’t enough. There’s a time, place, and process that makes compassion actually healing.
In this week's Wednesday live stream I'll share the safest, most effective way to bring gentleness and compassion into your tapping practice.
We go live at 11 AM Eastern time tomorrow (Wednesday) and you can join us here: https://youtube.com/live/tjFJPcM4lLg
This is one you are not going to want to miss,
