Good morning,
Did you know your subconscious mind has an absolutely 100% foolproof way to make sure you never fail again?
It really does!
It is very simple. To guarantee that you will never fail again: Don't do anything!
That is the solution that our subconscious mind comes up with because it doesn't see the
big picture.
Obviously we can't do nothing. AND life would be super dull if we did nothing.
But just because we know intellectually that this is no way to live, it doesn't stop the subconscious from creating resistance.
The first, second, and third job of the subconscious is to keep us safe. One of the ways it does this is by trying to stop us from doing anything dangerous. Even though this resistance doesn't stop us from doing everything, it is powerful.
The
subconscious flexes its power whenever it thinks we are stepping into danger. A key area where this applies is wherever we have failed in the past.
This makes perfect sense. If we have a history of something going badly, we will avoid it. But what happens when that thing we failed at in the past is something we need to do? What happens if the thing we failed at in the
past is something we are longing to do?
Our best way forward is to clear the resistance. We need to make it as easy as possible to make progress in the future.

It hurts to want something badly and then let yourself down in its pursuit. Because of this, your subconscious mind is fighting tooth and nail to ensure you don't have to feel that pain again by preventing you from making commitments to yourself.
