Good morning,
One of my favorite quotes from my friend Pamela Bruner is: "Small business ownership is the graduate school of personal development."
That's because small business owners have to master all kinds of new skills in order to succeed.
You don't have an employer paying your salary. You don't have co-workers doing tasks that you don't like or aren't good at. The buck literally stops with you.
AND this stretching isn't just learning to do tasks that are unfamiliar or unnatural to you. It means you have to stretch beyond your fear.
To succeed as a small business owner you have to overcome the fears that have you playing small. You have to be brave and put yourself
out there, which means opening yourself up to scrutiny and judgment.
AND 👏 THAT 👏 IS 👏 SCARY!!!!!!! 👏
It is like a graduate school of personal development because you have to do the difficult internal work in order to move forward.
This isn't only true for small business owners; it is true for all of us.
In trying to keep us safe, our subconscious mind limits us to playing small. Playing small means that we miss out on opportunities,
growth, joy, and creating authentic lives that we love.
In this week's podcast I explore the three biggest reasons we hold ourselves back and we then tap for each of those reasons.
This is the path
to create a life that is filled with even more richness.

Getting out of
your own way will make creating a life that you love so much easier. You are worthy of clearing your resistance to being seen.

PS: Did you know that I go live every Wednesday at 11 AM Eastern on
YouTube with free trainings? This week, we talked about and tapped for feeling guilty about taking care of ourselves. It is a perfect complement to this week's podcast. You can find the replay here: https://www.youtube.com/live/6T1hHa9LyXY?si=6N-7wije0edeP8DF&t=168
