Good morning,
For me, the hardest part of creating transformation and change is the moments in which I know exactly what to do, I know how to do it, I have everything I need to take action, and I
know why it is valuable to take action and...
...I just don't do it!
Sometimes I feel so bad about letting myself down that I just want to bang my head against the wall while I scold myself with "You're so stupid! Stupid! Stupid!"
What I find most interesting about this sort of response is how I characterise myself as "stupid". It is a word that implies the reason I am failing is because I'm not smart enough.
In reality, not taking action
has nothing to do with how smart I am, but everything to do with my resistance on an emotional level.
Berating myself with "You're so stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" creates two problems.
The first (and most obvious) is that this type of
unkind response makes things worse, not better.
The second problem is that because I have misidentified the issue as an intellectual one, when I try to solve the problem, I am not working on the correct one.
In this week's podcast we are
talking about and tapping for the resistance to the actions we know we should be taking AND we will also tap for beating ourselves up when we fail.
Adding this tapping to my daily routine has changed my life as I am now able to take more consistent action towards creating an authentic life that I love.

Tapping to clear this sort of resistance is one of the most valuable forms of tapping that
you can do.
I hope you will join me,
