Good morning,
"If we were college students today, we would have crushed college!"
That is something my sister said to me last week as we were chatting about our oldest nephew's first few months at college.
Both my sister and I are neurodivergent and she was referring to all the technological tools created since our college days that would have been so helpful to us.
AND as much as I'd have loved those tools, I think that knowing how to tap back then would have been even more transformative.
Tapping could have transformed my learning journey. By quieting my mind before exams, helping me to focus when revising, and in navigating me through the whirlwind of
emotions that comes with growing up.
In the last two decades, I have had the opportunity to teach tapping to thousands of students. One of my favorite parts about teaching young people is that they don't ask the same questions as adults. They aren't worried about the science, the meridians, or finding the 'right words' to tap on.
They are just looking for something that will make their day better and are willing to do it if it works.
And it works!
I have a serious advantage in this work because of my years of experience working with students AND years of experience teaching tapping.
Most people who want to share tapping typically have one of those, but not both. They are either skilled at teaching but don't know tapping OR they're skilled tappers who have no idea how to connect
with kids.
If you are a teacher, parent, school administrator, coach, or any adult who just wants better for the young people in your life, then I urge you to check out Tapping In The Class Room.
Tapping In The Class Room is a
new training created by my friend, Dr. Peta Stapleton. Since 2017, Peta has trained over 2,000 teachers to use tapping with their students and she's documented the results. (She is a research scientist after all!)
This isn't a quick 90-minute training with a few best practice ideas. This is a comprehensive 16-module training that will equip you to share tapping with
students in any setting, for any issue.
