Good afternoon,
One of my favorite email subscriptions is from The Skint.
It's a newsletter about what is going on in New York, particularly free, cheap, and off-the-beaten path events.
There are performances of all types, interesting talks, walking tours, classes, and every other type of gathering under the sun.
Some of my most memorable times since moving to NYC happened because of something I read about in The Skint.
And then there are the times when I hate reading The Skint.
It has nothing to do
with the content but rather what is going on in my own life. Sometimes I am just too busy to enjoy the city I live in and love.
As I was checking my inbox a few weeks ago, I thought "I can't open this week's Skint because I know I'll feel bad about all the fun and interesting things I can't do because I just don't have the time."
I deleted the email before FOMO (the fear of missing out) kicked in.
FOMO isn't just something you see in clever internet memes, it's a real issue that can take a practical and emotional toll on our lives.
We might feel bad for not doing things we want to do, overstuff our schedule by trying to fit in too much, or we beat ourselves up because we aren't living our "best life" like other people seem to do.
In this week's podcast we are taking on FOMO. Not just the feeling in the moment, but how to
prevent it in the future.
Even if you haven't had the type of experience I talked about above, you have stories running in your subconscious mind of comparison and fear of missing out.
The tapping I share in the episode is super simple and
can be repeated as needed.

I'm guessing in this jam-packed holiday season, this might be exactly what you need.
