Good morning,
In the moment, when you are consumed by strong emotions, the last thing you remember to do is tap.
I know this to be true because it is something I struggled with myself for a long time.
This is mostly because of how you were taught to tap.
When you first learned tapping, you were
probably told that to begin you need to "be as specific as possible".
This is sound advice except for the fact that in the moment, when you are overwhelmed with emotions, it feels impossible to focus, much less be specific.
And that is why
you run into subconscious resistance to tapping, because you worry that it won't work if you can't be specific. So why bother even trying?
This week in the podcast, I share a simple way to eliminate your resistance by showing you the precise place to start every round of tapping.
It's a great way to start any round of tapping, not just in those highly emotional moments.

I wish I had been taught this powerful concept two decades ago when I was instructed to
"be as specific as possible" because the two ideas go hand in hand.
I would love to hear how this lands with you.
