Good morning,
In the Tapping Mastery Blueprint I teach that a good first step for any round of tapping is to ask yourself: "What is the goal of this round of tapping?"
The reason we use this question is because it provides a starting point for our tapping.
In my one-to-one work with clients, I am often presented with a rambling data dump of information about facts, emotions, and desires. When this happens, I
simply ask them what problem they are trying to solve.
Instantly, I can see a new sense of clarity on their faces when they identify what they need to work on.
As part of my intake for new clients, I ask: "When we finish this work, how will
you know we have been successful?"
This gives my clients the chance to create a clear statement of purpose for our work.
All three of these examples show how powerful and useful it is to have a clear goal or outcome for your tapping
work.
BUT there are times when having a goal can be something that sabotages your progress.
Listen to this week's podcast to learn about the surprising pitfalls that can come with having healing
goals.
You will learn:
- How goals and expectations can get in your way
- How to know if you are falling into this trap
- How to tap to free yourself from being held back by your goals
It is surprising how often this comes up and catches you unawares. If you are unaware that it is
happening, it will mean you tap less often and you are less effective when you do tap. Watch or listen at the links below to avoid this issue in your own tapping.
