Good morning,
As I mentioned in yesterday's email, March 3rd marked the 17th anniversary of the first ever episode of the Tapping Q&A Podcast.
When I started the podcast, I made the commitment to myself that I would do 10 episodes and see what happened.
And once I reached 10 episodes, I set myself the new goal of 100 episodes.
On reaching episode 100, I treated myself and a few close friends to a fancy sushi dinner. That was back in 2008 and between bits of sushi, I remember trying to explain to them what a podcast was.
Even though my friends didn't fully understand what I'd been doing, they were there with me to
celebrate.
I was happy and proud that I had lived up to my commitment to myself, and my friends were there to celebrate that with me (and possibly also celebrating that I was paying for dinner).
Celebrations are powerful!
They teach us that we can do it. They reinforce the value of our effort. They open our eyes to the fact that even bigger achievements are possible.
But when we sit down to tap, we are seldom celebrating. That's because we usually use tapping
to solve problems. We tap to reduce physical pain, calm dysregulated emotions, heal past wounds, and clear limiting beliefs.
Often the moment we clear one issue, we move right on to the next.
There is nothing wrong with this approach and I
use it myself, however, if we are only looking at the negative, then we are missing a powerful way to tap: in celebration!
That may seem like an odd use for tapping, but it is powerful. This week, to celebrate 17 years of the Tapping Q&A Podcast, I am sharing how you can use tapping to celebrate.
In this episode you will learn that celebration tapping:
- Accelerates your healing
- Encourages you to tap more
- Changes the way you feel in the moment, beyond just relieving pain or discomfort

I made a small bet with myself that this was going to be the least listened to or watched episode of the year because it may be the least obviously appealing topic I am planning to cover. Maybe you believe your focus should remain with what you want to heal and change, or you feel bad about celebrating because the work is
incomplete.
I encourage you to quiet that hectoring voice telling you to stay on task with what needs to be healed and allow yourself to entertain the power of celebration tapping.
I know it will make a difference for you today.
