Dear ,
I hope this finds you well. I am recovering from an amazing week. The weekend was spent teaching the
Adv-Techniques Class here in Baltimore.
We had so much fun and I learned lots.
Monday - Wednesday I was in New Orleans helping out with a
two day free health clinic. Over
1300 people receive care over two days.
A number of you had sent notes asking how it when. Here is an article on the event.Video + article
There will be another large clinic in Charlotte, NC the
first week of December. I will
have details when they become available (for both volunteers as well as the
uninsured).
1) New Resources: Two
new great resources this week. First we have another Q and A
podcast. I talk about finding a
practitioner, tapping for smoking, tapping points that are not in the basic
tapping sequence, and how I use the information the clients gives me to find
the root of their issues.
I also have part 3 in the 4 part series on creative ways to
tune into issues. (links below)
2) Looking for help
with an issue? Do you have an
issue that you just can't get past or can't seem to get yourself to start
working on it? May it is time to
work with a practitioner. Here is
what one of my clients wrote recently about our work:
"I feel like I know myself better since I did the
tapping session with Gene. The session went in a direction I could have
never imagined, it was very intuitive and taught me how to trust & follow
my intuition more. The day after the session, I had one of the most
amazing experiences of my life and I think it is because I did some deep
healing and clearing out of old patterns that might have been holding me
back. I look forward to having my next tapping session with Gene. Thank you!"

Boosting Techniques That Accelerate Tapping Success (AKA: How To Keeping
Tapping When It Gets Boring Or Stale) Part 3 of 4
Mechanically tapping/Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a
very easy thing to do. All you need is to provide stimulus to the tapping
points plus tuning into the issue at hand. The tapping part is easy; what can
be hard is the tuning in part. Often we are so close to an issue or we have
been working on an issue that it is difficult to see it clearly.
Recently Jeremy Dean's PSYBlog had
a very interesting two part series (via kottke)
which explored 14 of ways we can become more creative and more efficient
problem solvers. In this four part series I am going to explore how we can
apply many of these insights to tune into our issues in new ways (plus a few of
my own).
