Dear ,
I hope this note finds you well. I am currently visiting family in Wyoming. I have spent most of the last two days working on the new tap-along audio project that is going to be on the site every Monday starting the 3rd of January. I have set up my workspace in the basement of the house I grew up in. As I am busy at work, from time to time I look up to see herds of prong-horned antelope looking for food in the snow-covered prairie. It was such a blessing to grow up in Wyoming.
1) Last Week's Newsletter: There was a problem with the mail server when I sent out last week's newsletter and 3% of the list didn't get it. If you missed last week's newsletter you can find it here: http://www.aweber.com/b/1D8.R
In it you will find tap-alongs for the holidays, a great article on how to deal with physical pain, a continuation on the series on how to write content, and a link to a video of me dancing in front of 2500 people!
2) New This Week: Three great new resources this week on the site. First, there is a new podcast in which Rick Wilkes talks about trauma and work. Second, we continue the round-up series where we hear from lots of great practitioners about what they have learned from working with clients. Third, we have an article on an easy three-step process for getting out of your own way when tapping. (Links below)
3) I was asked by a friend this week if I work with more clients during the holiday season. Yes, yes I do! There is lots of added stress this time of year. If you are looking for some help with the emotional roller-coaster the holidays can be, let me know.
"I have worked with EFT for migraines on my own for almost a year and didn't have the success that I had working with Gene in one session. At the beginning of the session I had the aura of the migraine and with his unique and effective approach to EFT he worked with me very patiently until the pain disappeared completely. After four days of having the session I haven't had any pain, I feel lighter, happier and with more energy. It was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend Gene. I am definitely going to keep working with him to clear other issues. Thanks Gene!" Martha G., NC
Information on booking a session can be found here: http://tappingqanda.com/booking
Hope the holiday season is filled with blessings,
Gene

Business, Work, Stress and Trauma with Rick Wilkes (Pod #50)
We spend a great deal of our day in the work that we do. Not only does our working hours consume our time but it also consumes our emotions and our energy. In this interview with Rick Wilkes we talk about how stress and trauma in our personal and professional lives can affect our ability to be successful and healthy in our work life. We talk about ways of discovering how these past traumas are impacting us now and how we can use tapping to clear these so that we can be more present in the moment.

Round Up - What is something you have changed your mind about when it comes to healing, working with clients, or your own transformation process?
There is a wealth of information in the tapping community. From time to time I ask practitioners I respect their thoughts on tapping, healing, and their work. (I "round up" their opinions.) This happens about once a month. You can read past round-ups.

Three Steps to Letting Go of Your Unwanted Story
Here is a great article from Chip Engelmann. It is very easy for us to get caught-up in our own story. There are times when I am working with clients in which I can almost hear them hitting play as they start to tell me the pre-recorded message that is their story. The issue has moved from just being an issue to being the client's identity. Chip explains a nice little three step process to get out of our own story to start the healing.
