Dear ,

I did a little spring cleaning last night. I always feel so much better after I have cleaned up my place. I feel so much more at ease. It is kind of like making your bed right before you go to sleep. It always feels better to get into a made bed.

Many times we have a hard time cleaning up our space because our physical space is a representation of our emotional state. If we are stuck and cluttered in the inside our space is going to be cluttered as well.

I have worked with lots of clients about clutter and procrastination to only lead us to some awesome emotional healing. In "Cleaning House" you can read about one of my client's experience and a short process you can use to help your spring cleaning.

If you would like some help with this process (or any other one-on-one work) please let me know. I am home most of the month of April

"The session with Gene was a wonderfully liberating experience. He put me at my ease quickly, and the session flowed so naturally. He is highly intuitive, calm and professional, and I felt very safe. He is totally present with you during the session and I shifted some large and deep rooted blocks within my system, and although I felt a little tired afterward, I have since felt, and continue to feel, wonderful. I would highly recommend Gene." Karen UK

There are four great new resources on the site this week.

First, we have an article on another way to tap for anger that I learned while teaching an anger management class at the county jail. Second, there is bonus podcast where I talk about the lesson from the healing process. Last (but not least) there a two great TapAlong audios.

NEW & FEATURED ARTICLES

Breathing Life Into Anger
Lately I have been having a lot of trouble with anger. I am able to do some tapping for it, but it isn't giving me total relief and it is coming back again and again. Do you have any thoughts on how I can tap for this?

NEW & FEATURED AUDIOS

Bonus Pod #19: The Round-Up
Back in the fall I asked 10 practitioners that I admire and respect to answer 5 questions about the healing process, the healing journey, and their work with clients. The questions I asked them were:

  • What lessons have you learned about healing from a client?
  • What is something you have changed your mind about when it comes to healing, working with clients, or your own transformation process?
  • If you were to start your own healing journey over again what would you do differently?
  • What is one thing you wish your clients believed about themselves?
  • What is one thing you wish your clients believed about healing process?

TapAlong: Taking Risks
"I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it."  Pablo Picasso

Trying new things can be hard. It requires us to put ourselves at risk. It requires up to face the fact that we don't know everything. We know intellectually that there are many things we have tried in the past that we didn't know how to do. Some of them worked out right away while others took time for us to learn. When we recognize that it is okay for us to try new things and that it is okay to not be perfect during the learning process it makes it easier for us to try new and different things.

TapAlong: Knowing What You Can Change
"You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself." Jim Rohn

As a child I didn't do a very good job of dealing with my emotions. I would let things build up and build up until finally one small thing would be too much and I would be reduced to a pile of tears. After one of these moments my father was consoling me. He said, "Gene David it doesn't do you any good to worry about the thing that you can't control." To my 10-year-old mind this was a revelation. For some reason it just sank right in. But there are still times when I waste time and energy on those things I can't change. When I am able to let these worries go and focus on responding to what is going on, then I do much better.
