Dear ,
Sorry for the delay in this week's newsletter. This week I was with my family in Orlando. I was such a great joy to visit SeaWorld with my 4 year old nephew. I thought he was going to explode with joy at one point. Big fun.
The article this week is a little different. I went through the last 6 months of the site and found some of the best of the best to highlight.
For those of you who are new this will be a good way to find some very helpful stuff.
For those who have been around for a while, you might find it helpful to go back and review stuff that has been helpful in the past. Many times something might not be right for us the first time we read it, but when it come back to it there is something new for us.
This is not the "best" but I chose one article for 11 types of articles/audio normally found on the site. I would love to hear what some your favorites are.
ALSO, there are three new audios this week. There is a bonus podcast on the difference between fix and transform. Changing the way you see these words will speed your healing.
There are also two great TapAlongs.
Links to all 4 resources below.
Let me know what I can do to be helpful to for you.

Bonus Pod #18: Fix v Transform
I have a real problem with the word "fix". It means that something is broken. There are a number of draw back to looking at any issue or part of our life as broken. In this audio (with full transcript) we look at the key differences between fix and transform.

TapAlong: Responding To Emotional Vampires
One of my favorite terms to introduce to clients is "emotional vampire." If they haven't heard the word before they normally chuckle knowing exactly what I am talking about. An emotional vampire is someone who sucks us emotionally dry. Sometimes we know it is coming. Other times we are caught completely off guard. They can suck us dry by belittling our dreams, complaining about how the world is against them, or just their general grumpiness can bring us down. We when are aware of emotional vampires we have an opportunity to care for ourselves better.

TapAlong: Not Knowing What We Want
Sometimes it is hard for us to get what we want because we don't know what we want. Even if we have spent months or years moving toward our goals there are moments when all we know is we don't know what is going on right now. This can even happen the moment after we have a clear vision of what our goals are. Sometimes the sense of knowing what we want can evaporate in a moment. Other times we can have a very clear vision about what we want in one part of our life, but have no clue of what we want in another part of our life. By acknowledging what we don't want it can lead us to understanding what we do want.
