Happy Thursday!

I want you to know that I do not just pay lip service to EFT. Tapping has transformed my life in tremendous ways. Each week in this newsletter my goal is to share a few things that I hope will make tapping more effective for you.

First, I was recently asked by a reader if he should be working with a practitioner. Working with a practitioner isn't right for everyone. I responded to his question in both video and article form:

Video answer: tappingqanda.com/?p=8079

Second, there are times when we tap for an issue, it seems to be completely cleared, and then all of a sudden it comes back in full force. This week I have an interview with Karin Davidson on why this happens, how to prevent it, and what the gamut point has to do with it.

Here's the interview: tappingqanda.com/?p=8120

Finally, I love the questions and comments that are made on the website. This week there was a great question about how specific we need to be when tapping. You can read the comment and my response here:

COMMENT OF THE WEEK

Comment on "The Healing Manifesto"

Under the 12 Thoughts on Healing in point 10 "You don't have to know why you are the way your are to heal", I'm feeling a little lost. This seems contradictory to everything that I've read about EFT/Tapping over the past five years knowing that I don't have to be able to sort through a lifetime of events that have contributed to my unfortunate, present state, but contradictory none the less. Gary Craig's advice has always been to "be as specific as possible." You might achieve some results about "this pain" or "this limiting belief," but it always seemed as though one would never achieve total emotional freedom without being able to tune in to the specific event that caused "this pain" or "this limiting belief." Could you explain the difference and how to work around not having the specifics?

NEW & FEATURED ARTICLES

Is Working With An EFT Practitioner Right For You? (Article | Video) - I recently received an email from Kevin in Ireland asking some really good questions about reaching out for help with an issue. Not everyone needs to be working with a practitioner. Have you ever considered working with someone? Here are my thoughts.

A Powerful But Often Forgotten EFT Point: The Gamut Point w/ Karin Davidson - Did you know that some healing with EFT can be reversed in an instant? Not only can we prevent it, but it takes only three minutes and the gamut point. In this interview with Karin Davidson we explore spontaneous back-sliding and how to prevent it using the gamut point.
