Hello!
This week I have two great tools to help you use EFT to increase your productivity and to get out of your own way.
First, have you ever spent a great deal of time working on an issue, truly felt like you have taken significant steps towards healing...and you are still stuck?
AND because you feel stuck after all that work it feels pointless, so you stop tapping for the issue.
This is just like one of the biggest dangers you would encounter in a old school Western.
Seriously! Here is how being stuck with an issue is like living in the Old West:

Second, two of the ways in which we struggle with tapping are either by trying to do too much, or worrying that we will dive in too deep and feel overwhelmed. When this happens we just don't tap at all. This is particularly true of trauma and in this interview with Sophia Cayer we discuss how to approach traumas big and small with tapping.
This is another example of an interview in which I learned a lot and you will too! Listen here:

As always, let me know what I can do to be helpful,

PS: On Monday I sent out an email explaining how you can receive a free 10 part guide to stopping self sabotage. Over 400 people joined me within the first 24 hours. If you missed it you can sign up here, it will only take 15 seconds: Sign up here! |

What To Do When You Feel Like You Have Stopped Moving Forward With An Issue - My client was so frustrated! We had been working on something he wanted to change in his life for a number of sessions and he felt like we were dealing with the same issues, with the same complaints, with the same outcomes. The truth was that he had made a lot of progress AND he was getting the same results. When this happens it can be so frustrating because we have put in the work, we know we have healed many issues, but it doesn't feel like it is bearing any fruit. This is what we should do when this happens.
Pod #92: Understanding And Using EFT For Trauma w/ Sophia Cayer - People throw the word trauma around a lot and because of this it is easily misunderstood. Some people treat trauma too casually, and others with too much caution. The best way to approach trauma lies somewhere in the middle of these two extremes. In this interview with Sophia Cayer we explore what we really mean by the word trauma, how we are impacted by traumatic events, and how we work on them with tapping. |
