Good Morning!

I want to tell you a little story about how I tap and tap-along audios...

The most common way people use tapping is when they have a problem and decide to tap for it.

I am sad; I tap.

I feel overwhelmed; I tap.

I want to stop eating chocolate; I tap.

My knee hurts; I tap.

This is a great way to use tapping. This is the way I was introduced to tapping and I still tap this way today. But it is not the only way. In the last 18 months a huge transformation came in my own life came when I changed the way I tapped.

Don't get me wrong, I still tap for things when they come up, but mostly I only tap for 6 or 7 minutes a day.

The Next Step In Tapping To Improve My Life
When I was first introduced to tapping I used it to get rid of my social anxiety. It was the perfect tool. In under 6 weeks I had knocked it out and to this day it is no longer an issue. About two years ago I decided that I was ready to make a major commitment to transforming my life, but I didn't have something big like social anxiety to tap for as a starting point.

I wanted to be healthier, more productive, to procrastinate less, and generally be more comfortable inside my own skin, but since I didn't have a major issue to go after I wasn't sure where to begin.

I decided to give "The Personal Peace Procedure" a try.

If you don't know, The Personal Peace Procedure is tapping tool where you create a list of every traumatic event in your life. There are lots of tools online that will help you with questions to dig up all these issues.

Once you have this massive list you spend time every day tapping on some of these memories. After you have cleared the emotion around the memory you cross it off your list.

In theory the way it works is the more of these past issues you clear, the more baggage you let go. The more baggage you let go, the more emotionally healthy you are. The more emotionally healthy you are, the better your life is in this moment.

At least that is what is supposed to happen in theory.

I Failed The Personal Peace Procedure
I didn't exactly work out for me. I am not saying the Personal Peace Procedure doesn't work, because I never got around to doing it.

This is what happened...

First, I tried to come up with a comprehensive list of past traumatic events. This is exactly as much fun as it sounds. There is no better way of spending a sunny afternoon than sitting by the window of your favorite coffee shop, sipping a cup of coffee, and thinking about every horrible thing that happened to you in middle school.

Needless to say, I wasn't super motivated by this process and I ended up with an incomplete list.

Second, even though my list of past horrors was incomplete I was able to muscle my way through and came up with 70 or 80 memories that could use some tapping. Each day I set aside a little time to tap. I would get out my list of issues to tap on, I would read through them and, before I had the chance to pick one to tap on, I would start to feel bad.

Just moments before I was in a good mood and then I would dive into my past and feel like crap.

After some tapping I would feel better, I knew I had cleared something from my past, and I knew it would make a difference.

Third, then I stop doing it. At first I started by skipping a day, then I would miss two days in a row, and then I missed a whole week.

I was frustrated with myself. I wanted better. I wanted to use this tool lots of people were raving about.

Because it wasn't working I tried to figure out why.

It became obvious very quickly. There was a part of me that really didn't enjoy reading through a list of past painful moments. Even though I knew that I would feel better after I tapped, there was a part of my system that didn't want to go through it.

A New Approach
Once I realized that this wasn't working I decided I needed to find a way that would work for me. I looked through my incomplete list of past memories and started to pull out the types of issues that were behind the memories. I came up with a whole list of issues: not being heard, not having the courage to speak up, not believing I was good enough, not dealing well with people who pushed my buttons, not acting out of love, judging myself by the words that others said...

I then decided to write a tapping script for each of these topics. I thought that I would be more likely to tap for an issue if I didn't have to start with diving into a list of unpleasant memories which put me into a bad mood that I then had to get myself out of.

Each day I would tap to one of these scripts. Some days memories of the past would come up and I would tap on them. Other days I just tapped on the script.

Two amazing things happened. First, I tapped almost every day. I didn't avoid it. Second, my life changed.

I felt better. I was more productive. I was happier.

It didn't happen all at once. Every day wasn't perfect. There were still events that needed to be tapped for on their own.

But life was much better.

Is This A Faster And Better Approach Than The Palace Of Possibilities?
I have no idea if this new approach was faster or better than The Palace of Possibilities. It was certainly fast and better for me.

And really that is what it comes down to: a tool is only useful in as far as we are willing to put it into practice.

Thursday's Newsletter
In Thursday's newsletter I told you about a library of tap-along audios. That library of audios contains the tapping scripts that I came up with for my daily tapping in audio format.

Those 68 audios are the ones I worked through one at a time day-by-day for more than two months. Once I worked through all of them I went back to the beginning and tapped through all of them again.

Last week I was home for my 20th high school reunion. After the first gathering with my classmates I was driving home and thinking about the conversations of the night. I realized from the stories I was telling my old friends that the past year has been one of the best of my life.

Taking 5 to 10 minutes daily to tap through these audios has been a huge part of this.

You Can Have This Too
I want you to have access to this same type of success. Until Friday August 23rd I am offering these 68 audios for less than $1 each.

Think about it...for less than a dollar a day you can have someone guiding you through tapping every day for more than the next two months. Each day you tap you chip a little away, moving you closer towards health and wellbeing.

Gain instant access to the audio downloads here: tappingqanda.com/?p=8199#buy

There are full details on the audios here: tappingqanda.com/?p=8199

You can see a full list of the tapping scripts here: tappingqanda.com/?p=8199#list

If you have any questions about the audios just reply to this note.

As always let me know what I can do to be helpful.
