One final thing before we begin: This note isn't about weight release, but I need to tell a personal story to make a point.

On June 26th I made a decision. I decided that I wanted to get back into shape.

Not that I was wildly out of shape. No one would call me fat, but I had gained about 1 lb a year since graduating university.

In the last 4 weeks I have lost 20 lbs of fat and gained 10lbs of muscle. I have stuck to my diet exactly, not cheating for even one bite. I have exercised at least 4 times a week every week, and often doing so when it was over 100° F . 

18 months ago I tried to do the same thing and I FAILED!

Not only did I fail, but I restarted the process two more times in six months. Each time I was fine for a week or two.

Then I would slip a little.

Then I would slip a lot.

Then I would give up....also known as: FAILURE

A Million Unfollowed Dreams
This is a pattern I have followed a number times in my life. Don't get me wrong, my life has been filled with many successes, but for every dream or plan I have executed there are 20 that have fallen apart.

My hard drive is filled with half written books and business plans that didn't go anywhere.

In the last 10 years I have owned half a dozen musical instruments that are now just collecting dust.

I have tried dozens of organizational systems to get my life more in order.

Until recently very few of them stuck.

My failures had little to do with not having clear vision. (I have read more books and articles on clear goal setting than anyone you know.)

My failures had little to do with knowing what steps to take. (As a computer scientist I am awesome at figuring out the steps that need to be taken.)

I had goals. I had plans.

AND I still failed!

It All Changed By Accident
I was working on writing a number of tapping scripts. My goal was to write two scripts a day for a week. Each morning as part of my daily writing I would work on a few scripts and then tap through them to make sure that they had the right flow.

This is when the really odd thing happened.

At the end of the week I was reviewing everything I had achieved for the week and I realized I had surpassed all my goals, had already completed many tasks for the next week, and somehow managed to work on average 1 hour less a day than usual.

So I tried to figure out what was going on.

For the first time in as long as I could remember I wasn't avoiding the hard task that had the big impact. I was going after them as if they were as easy as the things I enjoyed.

I was no longer getting in my own way!

And more importantly I understood how I was stopping the self sabotage. Something was happening in tapping to those scripts that wasn't happening with my regular tapping. (More on that in a bit.)

Three Part Recipe To Transformation
For transformation to take place we need a clear vision, a clear plan, and to stop getting in our own way.

Now that I understand these three parts, how they work together, and how to make sure they happen, making change is happening rapidly in my life (like my recent health kick).

5 Months To Change Your Life
If you decide to take the plunge this is what the next 5 months of your life will look like:

I will teach you how to come up with a clear vision for your life AND we will craft that vision in detail.

I will teach you how to break down the larger tasks necessary to achieving your goals into smaller tasks AND come up with that plan for the vision that we have created for your life.

I will make sure the self sabotage stops. Not only will I show you how to stop the limiting thoughts and beliefs, we will knock them out in one-on-one sessions AND I will personally make sure you stay on track.

It will happen like this:

Part 1: Creating A Vision
You can't get to where you want to go unless you know precisely where that is. The first step is to create a very clear vision of what you want. We will take an honest look at your life right now, figure out what you don't like and why you don't like it, and then create well-defined targets to move towards.

This will be done through personal inventory, detailed interview by me, and a half day session where we will create a clear picture of where you are going. The half day session can be done here in Baltimore face-to-face, via video Skype, or online, according to your preference. All of it will be recorded so you can revisit it. (Value $1250)

Part 2: Creating A Plan
Once we have clarified your vision we will break the big goals down into discrete concrete steps and each of these steps will be placed on a timeline to make certain you know which step needs to be taken next. This will help you to stay on task doing the right thing (not just being busy for the sake of it) and ensure that you don't have to think of everything all at once to keep you from feeling overwhelmed.

This plan will be our road map. It will help us to find pitfalls and emotional blocks. It will also provide us with some surprises along the way. When we have a plan to move forward it is easier to be open to new possibilities and opportunities. Part 3: Getting Out Of Your Own Way
This is the most important work we will do. When we get out of our own way we see the path ahead much more clearly because our vision is no longer blurred by fear and trepidation. The tasks we face don't feel so big and we start to move forward naturally. To do this you will have access to:

  • Email support: Have a question about tapping, the plan, or how to approach a problem? I will answer every email question within 24 hours. (I have never offered this before so I am not even going to try and put a $ amount on it)
  • The 10 Steps To Getting Out Of Your Own Way To Get What You Want: These audios will teach you the tools I use for tasks from as small as re-arranging my livingroom to as big as writing a book. (Value $190)
  • Advanced tapping training: These are the best-of-the-best tools I use with myself and with my clients. Even if you will never use tapping to work with someone else, by mastering these techniques you will make your personal tapping time more efficient. (Value $495)
  • My personal tapping tool: This is something I haven't released publicly but it is the most powerful thing in my personal tool set. This is the tapping I do every day. This is a six week process that you can repeat again and again to knock out limiting beliefs. It also includes 65 tap along audios.
