Good morning!

I am always telling my clients that it is good to be honest with their emotions. Today I am giving myself permission to do the same thing (if you don't mind).

I am really frustrated about two things. One is personal and one is professional.

Personal Frustration: This weekend I did a major cleaning out of my place. It was embarrassing how badly it was needed. In the process of dusting my shelves I found myself face-to-face with an entire shelf of self-help books. 90% are untouched since the day I bought them.

After seeing all these unused tools I decided this would be the perfect week to share the interview I did with Maggie Adkins on the best way to do self-directed change work without wasting time or money.

If you have a pile of unused self-help books, dvds, and audios you need to listen to this: TappingQandA.com/?p=8274

Professional Frustration: I know this is something I need to tap on, but I hate EFT. OK, so I don't hate the tool EFT, but I really hate the name. I used to think the name was just cheesy, but now I think it is telling us something that is not helpful.

Find out why I am frustrated with the name EFT: TappingQandA.com/?p=8243

Right....I feel better now that I have that off my chest.

As always, please let me know what I can do to be helpful by just hitting reply to this email.

Pod #94: How To Get The Most Out Of Self-Directed Self Help w/ Maggie Adkins - I bet you are like me. Somewhere in your home or office there is a large pile of self-help books, cds, and dvds. In addition to this physical pile of resources there is a folder on your hard drive full of ebooks, pdfs, audios and interviews, also filled with amazing information...and you have never looked at over 90% of these resources. But there is a way to get more out of all these great resources. In this conversation with EFT Master Maggie Adkins we talk about how to do just that.

Why I Hate Emotional Freedom Techniques - I have a confession to make. I hate Emotional Freedom Techniques. OK, I don't hate the tool, but I hate the name and have done so since the first time I heard it. And when I am using the word hate, I am not joking. It makes my skin crawl. In the beginning I hated it because I thought the name did the technique such a disservice. Now I hate it because I don't think it is describing what is happening.
