[TappingQ&A] - I'm Not As Smart As I Thought

I think I'm a pretty smart guy. (Okay, more than think it. I
really believe it!)
If you want my opinion on something I will give it to you. Why else
would I have started a Q and A website if I didn't think I have
something useful to say?
I also believe I am a good businessman. In one capacity or another
I have been self-employed since 1997. I have worked hard adding to
my business knowledge and I regularly work with others helping to
start and grow their businesses.
About a year ago I started a new facet of my working life. I
started working as an associate coach for Pamela Bruner's
Transformational Biz Club (TBC). The TBC is set up to help people
who do transformational work start and/or grow their business.
As part of the TBC all the members get regular teaching calls with
Pamela. I knew as one of her associate coaches I needed to listen
to the calls so that when I was working with TBC members I knew
what they were up to.
To be honest, I thought the call's weren't going to be anything
more than a review of stuff I knew.
I wasn't able to be on the first call last fall, so I downloaded
the recording to listen to while I went for my evening walk.
Within the first block I thought, "Wow! This is good stuff."
A few blocks later I had to stop walking to scribble a few notes on
a piece of paper I had in my pocket with things I could do for my
private practice right away.
A few blocks later I was thinking, "Why didn't I think of that?
This is awesome!"
I certainly wasn't under the illusion that I knew everything there
was to know about running a business, but quickly I realized I was
nowhere near as smart as I thought I was.
Needless to say I think Pamela's stuff is great stuff!
For the last few weeks Pamela has been barnstorming the US doing a
