If you live in the US or have any contact with the US media you could not avoid all the personal recollections for 9/11.
This year I flew into NYC in the afternoon and walked a few blocks from my place in Brooklyn to look in on the skyline of my new home (photo at right).
It is important to remember these anniversaries AND it is important to remember to be a peacemaker every day.
I know when I watch the news I feel daunted and overwhelmed by what is going in the world (and even in my own city), feeling like it is much too much for me to make a difference.
(Yes, I know this is very cliché!) We all know the power of a personal act in another person's life. When we all do small acts it makes a real difference.
After walking down to look at the NYC skyline I recorded this short tap-along audio to help me be a peacemaker in my own life, where I am.
I would love it if you joined me in tapping along. It will take less than 6 minutes: http://tappingqanda.com/?p=9245
As always, let me know what I can do to be helpful,
