Good afternoon!
The internet is an amazing tool in how it can create a common experience for all of us.
In just a few days a sensation can reach all corners of the world. One moment PSY is a little-known Korean singer and the next everyone in the world is dancing Gangnam Style!
Last Saturday I finally caught up on the phenomenon that is the song and viral video "What Does The Fox Say?" written by the Norwegian comedian duo Ylvis.
Ylvis created the video to promote their TV show and in eight weeks it has been viewed over 150 million times. Here in the States the fox costume worn by the lead singer is already the best selling Halloween costume. Countless parody videos have been made. It just seems to be everywhere.
The Gangnam Style video has been viewed on YouTube over 1.8 billion times AND when was the last time you heard that song?
Something is new...then exciting...then everywhere...then tired...then yesterday's news.
These rising and falling fads are not just limited to pop culture. They happen in all parts of our life.
The tapping world is no different. For me the concept that has overstayed its welcome is the word "manifesting".
You read that right. I am tired of manifesting.
And the reason I am tired of it is because as it has gone mainstream it has been twisted into something that is no longer useful and often becomes an excuse for not moving forward.
Sceptical? In this article I explain how I learned everything I needed to know about manifesting from the movie Good Will Hunting: http://tappingqanda.com/?p=9296
As always, please let me know what I can do to be helpful.

It's Not Your Fault - Just because you can manifest some things in your life doesn't mean that everything in your life is there because it is your fault. Here is my take on the sometimes overused idea of manifestation. |
