Good Morning!
The Hopi tribe of the Southwestern United States are known for their storytelling tradition. The image you see to the right is of a Hopi elder with the generations sitting on his lap listening to stories.
I love their traditions, their stories, and their land. I often like to share the Hopi thought, "When someone is telling a story that we have heard before we don't stop them. The story might be the same but we as listeners are different, therefore we hear the story differently."
My friend Jen tried to find more information on this idea and the only internet reference she could find to this idea was something I wrote.
Regardless if the Hopi said it or if I made it up, it is true!
The last year at TappingQandA has been a tremendous blessing in my life. Thank you for listening, reading, tapping, commenting, and sharing.
Below you will find some of the best and my favorites on the site in 2013.
Even if you have visited them before, dive back in and give them a second read, you may discover a fresh angle.
I would love to hear which were your favorites of the year!
As always, let me know what I can do to be helpful,

* * *
My Holiday Embarrassment - Last year during the holiday season I learned a valuable lesson about what is important to me and how I can care for others. This is worth a re-read to remind us of what we can do day to day for others.
EFT for Shame - This short tap-along video was the most commented upon post of the year. Shame can be a crippling emotion and this video will help you to find relief.
When EFT Goes Wrong - Sometimes we take healing, EFT, and ourselves a little too seriously. This should give you a chuckle.
FasterEFT - This interview with FasterEFT creator Robert Smith was the most controversial post of the year. Robert has a unique perspective on the healing process with tapping as you can hear in this thought provoking conversation.
Fear Of Rejection In The Age Of Invitation - This conversation with Rick Wilkes was the most downloaded podcast of the year. It is a great look at how we can connect with others in more meaningful ways.
Is It OK To Say 'Not' While Tapping? - We are repeatedly told not to use negative statements when we are tapping because the subconscious doesn't hear or understand the word 'not'. I dug into the scientific research to see if this is true and how the word 'not' impacts our tapping. The results are surprising.
Everything I Needed To Know About Manifesting I Learned From Good Will Hunting - Personally, I think we have wrecked the word manifesting. It has been used in so many ways by so many people it doesn't mean anything useful anymore. Here is everything I think you need to know about manifesting.
Not Everything That Feels Personal Is Personal - Just because something hurts us in a personal way does not mean it was a personal attack. It is helpful to know the difference between something that is personal and something that feels personal when we are trying to heal.
My Ego Gets In The Way Of My Healing - I learned a valuable lesson this year about my ego and how it hurts the healing process because of something that happened on Facebook.
2 Surprisingly Different Outcomes From Tapping - There are two types of results that can come from "successful" tapping sessions. This realization changed the way I tapped.
