Good Morning,
A quick note before we jump into this week's newsletter. I have heard from a number you that even though you enjoy the podcasts you also really enjoy articles. For the last few weeks we have been audio heavy. That is because I have been working on another writing project.
Article lovers fear not! Many great tapping articles are coming starting next week.
Now to our regularly scheduled note...
It can be really frustrating when we make self-sabotaging choices.
Even as I make a self-sabotaging choice I often know it is the wrong choice in the moment I am making it. It is almost as if I can't help myself.
And the truth is on some level I can't help myself.
There is a part of me that believes this really is the best choice that I can make.
I was talking to my friend Brad Yates about this. I loved the way he describes it. He said something to the effect of, "When we sabotage ourselves we show brilliant creativity in maintaining something that our system thinks is helpful."
If we are able to take a step back and look objectively at the choices we are making we can see how magical and amazingly inspired they really are.
Don't believe me? Here is the conversation I had with Brad about how we are brilliant in our self-sabotage AND much more importantly how we can use this to make better choices.

As alway, let me know how I can be helpful by hitting reply to this note.

PS: There is still lots of time to help out with getting EFT relief to 10,000 kids in the Philippines traumatized by typhoon Haiyan. As a thank you for helping out you will also receive a bundle of great gifts from some of my favorite tapping professionals. Information on how you can help here: http://tappingqanda.com/?p=9646 |
