Good morning,
One of the things I love about the tapping community is that it is filled with so many warmhearted, kind people.
As a general rule, those doing personal development work tend to be much more aware of the struggles of those around them.
That means we have a community of caring helpers, which is great!
And at the same time...
Those in the tapping community often turn into people who are helpers first, second, third, and fourth. Then, if they are lucky, they will put their own needs fifth (if indeed they are doing anything at all for themselves).
Does this sound familiar?
Last week I was working with a client around this precise issue. She wanted to be spending time working on her dream business, but everyone else's needs were coming first.
In the midst of the conversation I realized what was happening. It wasn't just a matter of wanting to be kind and thoughtful.
Instead, it had to do with what she understood about the other people in her life and how she didn't extend that same understanding to herself, which meant putting everyone else first.
In this week's podcast I share that discovery with you, how you can apply it to your own life AND we do some tapping to reinforce the new understanding.
If you constantly find yourself putting the needs of others ahead of your own, this episode is a must.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this approach.
