Â
Good morning,
Â
Most of the time when we are thinking about tapping, we are focusing on the words we say while tapping, the issues we are addressing, how to find the root cause, which point to tap on, and how long we should spend tapping on a particular issue.
Â
These aspects are all important, as they help us to get the most out of our tapping and you can find over 1000 resources on them at Tapping Q & A.
Â
At the same time, there is something else that we can do to maximize the benefits of our tapping.
Â
I have found it is just as important to think about how we start and end our tapping sessions.
Â
If we take care to set up our tapping sessions for success, we will be able to zero in on the core of the issue more quickly, which means longer lasting results. It's kind of like warming up your muscles before you work out. By stretching and getting the blood flowing, we can get more out of our workout and be less
susceptible to injury.
Â
Ending a tapping session in the right way and how we re-enter our day is no less important. I like to use the analogy of when we are doing tapping work it's as if we are unraveling our problems. Before we end a session, it's a good idea to reravel ourselves so that we can continue with our day without being caught in a
tapping fog.
Â
To help you get the most out of your tapping sessions, this month's Art of Delivery Monthly live class will be all about how to set yourself up for success at the beginning of a tapping session AND how to end your session in a safe and healthy way.
Â
I realize that this is not the most scintillating of tapping topics.
Â
A few months ago we worked on how to combine muscle testing with tapping, which was super cool, and last month we talked about the universally useful topic of how to use tapping to get a better night's sleep.
Â
Even though how we start and end a session doesn't seem like the juiciest subject, it is extremely valuable. If you start and end your tapping sessions in the optimum way, then you will boost the effectiveness of each session AND you are likely to tap more frequently and accelerate your healing.
Â
