Good morning,
Earlier this week I was talking to two of my clients "David" and "Judy". They are a married couple and I have been helping them to create the best possible life for their family.
At the beginning of our call David brought up how paralyzed by emotion he gets when his life feels out of control.
It goes like this…feeling out of control leads to feeling overwhelmed, which leads to feeling locked up and paralyzed, which leads to inaction, which leads to things only getting worse.
In the process of sharing with them why the subconscious mind does this, what they can do in the moment of feeling out of control and, most importantly, what they can do before they get to that state to prevent the overwhelm, I interrupted myself.
I said out loud: "Now I know what this week's podcast needs to be about." And both Judy and David agreed!
The reality is that we constantly find ourselves in situations that we can't control. Truth be told, there is more in life that we don't control than that we do!
We just happen to be in a moment in history, with the pandemic and all that has come with it, where this is much more evident because of how directly we are impacted by everything we do not control.
In this week's podcast I share:
- why the subconscious mind is so susceptible to being overwhelmed by a lack of control
- how to turn around the overwhelm in the moment
- what we can do ahead of time so that we aren't caught up in this as often
As well as instruction there is also a tap-along audio and printable tapping script.
