Good morning,
Almost 15 years ago when I was studying NLP I learned a really cool technique that helps you to change your response to something you dislike.
The first time I used this tool I shifted my dislike of mushrooms in less than five minutes.
I will admit this isn't the most profound change in the world, other than broadening my culinary horizons, but after the training I continued to experiment with the tool. I added to it and I tried it out on much bigger issues. And I used it in combination with tapping.
In the end, I developed an approach that has not only changed the way I respond to different situations in my life, it also turned out to be an effective way of uncovering any underlying resistance to making change.
When I learned this I was at a very early stage in my training. As well as NLP, I was also studying hypnosis, parts work, and a whole host of other approaches to healing.
This great tool I mentioned slipped to the back of my mind as I leaned on other tools that were just as powerful.
Then an odd thing happened last December. I was working with a client and, out of nowhere, the tool sprang back into my mind and we put it to use right away with great success.
For the last two months I have been playing with this tool, improving and refining it even further.
I have been using it with my clients almost daily and I love it sooooooooooo much!
I've decided that this tool will be the focus of the February Art of Delivery Monthly class, but there is a small problem... I have no idea what to call the tool or the class.
There isn't an obvious name for the approach and somewhere along the way I threw out my NLP training DVD, so I don't even know what it was called when I learned it.
Part of me wants to call it "The Claw Game". When you learn the tool you will understand why I would call it that, but that isn't the most accessible name for a transformational tool.
Anyway! I would love it if you would join me for the February class when I will be teaching the "really useful and excellent technique to be named at a later date".
In this class you will learn to use the tool to:
- Change your emotional response to people, tasks, and situations
- Understand and clear your resistance to change
- Customize it in the way that works best for your tapping style
AND now with an extra bonus!
Starting in February I am going to be adding bonus office hours to the class. That means that twice a month you will be able to jump on Zoom and ask any questions you want about tapping.
They could be questions about what we covered in this month's class, something tricky that recently came up in a client session, or how to approach an issue in your own life. We will even do a little tapping if need be!
This month those office hours will be Tuesday, February 22nd at 5 PM Eastern USA and Thursday, February 24th at 11 AM Eastern USA.
Here are all the details:
- The class costs $44
- You can save 25% and sign up to attend the class every month until you cancel (and you can cancel any time, even after just one class)
- The class will be offered Tuesday, February 15th at 7.30 PM Eastern and Sunday, February 20th at 12 noon Eastern
- You can attend either or both classes
- Both classes will be recorded and you will be given access to both recordings
- You will have two opportunities to ask anything you want during office hours on Zoom
I would love it if you joined us!
This is a tool you can use with clients or when tapping on your own.
You can sign up to join the class here: https://tools.tappingqanda.com/sign-up-aodm
If you have any questions about logistics, the class topic, or anything else, all you need to do is reply to this email.
Hope to see you there,
Gene
