Good afternoon,
A few weeks ago I was on a first date with "Betty".
We were doing the usual get-to-know-you stuff typical of first dates. A common topic here is someone's "New York City origins story".
New York isn't a place you end up by accident. It is crowded, congested, and expensive, so you only move here if you have a good reason.
I asked Betty what brought her to New York and her reply was unexpected.
She said, "I'm afraid to say it out loud…I moved here because of a childhood dream. I am worried that if I say it out loud, it will seem silly. And on some level I'm also worried that if too many others think it is silly, then I'll think it's silly and give up."
That is an incredible amount of self-awareness, as well as a really vulnerable thing to share on a first date.
Betty's fear makes total sense.
The dreams we have for our lives can sometimes feel too big, be they personal or professional.
They might be realistic dreams for other people, but not us.
They might seem achievable for others, but not us.
And they may well feel foolish when we say them out loud.
If that's the case, your dreams won't get the chance to become reality and will remain a mere fantasy.
I know exactly what this feels like.
In the past year I have been working towards a big goal in my life. It is something that will impact the work I do, who I work with, where I live, and what I am able to do in many other parts of my life.
I know all the steps I need to take. I know everything that needs to be in place. I have spent many months learning new skills in order to execute the plan.
It is going to be awesome!
Except for one thing...I had started to drag my feet. I kept filling my day with other "important" tasks. I even stopped talking about my dream, because I was embarrassed by how I was dragging my feet and not taking action.
The reason I was holding myself back? Just like Betty, I had started to worry that my dream was too fragile to be spoken into the world. I was worried I'd invest all my time, energy, and money in a plan that might fail.
Subconsciously, I was thinking "I can't fail at this dream if I never start!"
Once I came to this realization, I started tapping daily to get my fears of failure and success out of the way in order to take action.
I am guessing you have a dream as well.
Something that is important to you. You might even know exactly what you need to do in order to achieve your dream, but you just aren't taking action.
You keep finding "more important" things to focus on.
Then, at the end of the day, when you are alone with your thoughts, you feel bad because another day has slipped by without making any progress.
That is why I created the Upper Limits Busters program! It is your chance to uncover the hidden resistance holding you back and clear it so that you can start taking action.
So that you can start moving forward.
So that you can live the dream (your dream) that you desire.
The Upper Limits Busters program includes:
- Training videos to show you exactly how to uncover and clear your resistance to taking action
- 5 days of tapping with me so that you get help executing the tools in the most useful way possible
- A deep dive day were we will focus on taking action right away AND on creating lasting change so you can keep taking consistent daily action that will lead to success
All the training, group tapping, and downloadable recordings cost just $97.
The next time I offer this program it will cost $397, so this is your last chance to get it at 75% off.
We start next Monday (and if you can't attend live, everything is recorded so you can still tap along with us).
